Girls on the Run of Southeastern Suburban PA offers exciting internship opportunities! We offer an internship program allowing interns to be joyful, healthy and confident through experience-based learning, building professional, personal, and skills development in a non-profit work setting.
GOTR Interns will:
- Develop their skill set in a specific learning area.- Increase in self-awareness and confidence in the work place.- Contribute to furthering GOTR’s mission.- Gain knowledge of a non-profit work environment.- Be given leadership opportunities.- Possess a sense of ownership in their work.- Network with an accomplished, engaging group of women and men who have diverse professional backgrounds.

We believe interns should be actively incorporated into the work environment, providing meaningful work while being uniquely developed and strengthened in order to successfully launch into the work world beyond GOTR. Just as girls in our program gain confidence and a sense of accomplishment through running, we desire our interns to gain the same inner strength through their training and work experience with GOTR of Southeastern Suburban PA. Internships provide the next phase in empowerment by preparing young women & men for success in the workforce. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to pursue her/his goals and dreams. There are no limits to what a young woman or young man with confidence can achieve!
